<\/a>News this week that their bonkers three-wheeler, the Slingshot\u00ae, is now available in the UK and a close look at a couple on display at last weekend\u2019s Autosport International show reveals a very nicely built vehicle that has plenty of shove.<\/p>\nBased around a steel spaceframe, Polaris describes the Slingshot\u00ae as a three-wheeled motorcycle and although it\u2019s not a \u2018leaning trike\u2019 it does feature tilting steering for full knee-down motorbike effect.<\/p>\n
Three models are available in the UK \u2013 Slingshot\u00ae in titanium metallic; Slingshot\u00ae SL, which adds larger diameter wheels, media console, Bluetooth\u2122 and wind deflector, in red pearl paint finish, with the rangetopping Slingshot\u00ae SL LE in black pearl paint with red accents. Prices in the UK start at \u00a323,000\u2026<\/p>\n<\/a>Seats are waterproof, while it also features electronic stability control and ABS, double wishbone front suspension and anti-roll bar.
