Their modest star flickered brightly for a short while before they ceased trading.<\/p>\n<p>The project moved next door (literally!) to NTS for five minutes before heading south, passing to another Haynes Roadster specialist, Gilham Engineering although they keep a very low profile. Therefore it was with interest that I heard this week that it has returned home to the North East, now under the control of Stockton-on-Tees-based VMax Composites, run by Dave Williams.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9285\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9285\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/news_aries.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-9285\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/news_aries-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Here's VMAX's new demo vehicle\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9285\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Here&#8217;s a cool Roadster built and owned by Kevin Pooley of the Haynes Roadster forum<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With a background in composites Dave has got stuck into restoring the original moulds, which needed a bit of TLC, but can now start offering Saturn panels once more.<\/p>\n<p>More on this one soon.
