Thus far they\u2019ve obviously been doing something right because apart from a few hiccups they\u2019ve never had to abort a trip.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s range of (primarily) Mazda MX-5 and BMW Z3-based body conversions contains some excellent sellers such as Kobra, MX250 (also a convertible version available) and Z300S is joined by the Triumph-based A352 and D-Type replica.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7609\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7609\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/news_tribute_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-7609\" title=\"news_tribute_2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/news_tribute_2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7609\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">BMW Z3-based Kobra<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>They also like a special project and recently they\u2019ve created the MRS200 replica, a recreation of a Microplas Mistral fifties special and an intriguing 2CV-based model called The Newport.<\/p>\n<p>However, although I wouldn\u2019t be at all surprised if Tribute-boss, Chris Welch, didn\u2019t have something all-new up his sleeve that he hasn\u2019t told me about, it\u2019ll be the 250SWB, another BMW Z3-based conversion that takes centre stage on the company\u2019s Stoneleigh stand.
