lightweight, aluminium flywheel (Fidanza part# 161081) for use on the 2.5-litre (1999-2002), 2.8-litre (1999) and 3-litre (2001-2002) versions.<\/p>\n

for optimum weight reduction and tensile strength, delivering faster acceleration, quicker throttle response, better vehicle braking, increased clutch efficiency, and longer lasting durability.<\/p>\n

Featuring a precision-machined, Rockwell hardened ring gear, along with Fidanza\u2019s signature replaceable friction surface, this flywheel is built tough and will never require resurfacing or total replacement the company claims. When the friction surface wears, just replace that alone, thus saving both time and money.<\/p>\n

Because of BMW\u2019s tendency to use parts across their model range (as several kitcar manufacturers have discovered!) this part will also fit BMW X5 3-litre, 530i, 528, 330i, 328, \u00a0325i and 323i.<\/p>\n
