The first engine option, available as standard, is the iconic Twin Cam, which has been increased to 1845cc. Featuring fuel injection\u00a0delivering 185PS,\u00a0this engine is paired with a\u00a0four-speed\u00a0manual Ford Bullet synchromesh straight-cut transmission,\u00a0it pays\u00a0perfect tribute to the\u00a0Boreham-built Escort Mk1 Twin Cam, combining its storied history with precise, responsive performance for today\u2019s roads.<\/p>\n

For those seeking\u00a0the option of something engineered as a modern-day interpretation of classic Ford motorsport DNA, an all-new\u00a0motorsport-derived\u00a0four-cylinder\u00a0high-revving Ford\u00a0engine is available. This road-tuned 2.1-litre\u00a0cast and billet\u00a0engine\u00a0weighing in at under 85kg features a double overhead camshaft and chain cam drive\u00a0and produces 10,000rpm\u00a0and 300bhp.\u00a0The exhaust system is made from titanium.<\/p>\n
