It turns out that the car was the work of a Li\u00e8ge-based Citro\u00ebn dealer called Robert Radar. As well as being available in fully built form, it was possible to buy it in kit form. Radar first designed his eponymous GRP-bodied roadster in 1956. He then proceeded to sell twenty of them, plus around forty bodies.<\/p>\n

Citro\u00ebn\u2019s Belgian importer then took it on and sold the \u20182CV-Radar\u2019 between 1959-1962. Visually very similar other than it having a little bonnet, no door handles and a Citro\u00ebn DS rear window used as a windscreen.<\/p>\n

However, they only sold a few, including two in kit form.<\/p>\n

So, a short but sweet story of a car you may not have heard of. I would love to see one.<\/p>\n
