Big fan of Welsh manufacturer, MST Cars, who have just added a third model to their range which already features Mk1 and Mk2 Ford Escort-inspired cars available in kit and fully built form.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve recently unveiled their take on the Escort Mk2 RS2000, called the MST EVO-X, with the \u2018X\u2019 referring to Ford Motorsport\u2019s Widebody X-Pack option available for the RS2000, in period.<\/p>\n

Just like MST\u2019s other models, the EVO-X looks exquisite., particularly with that \u2018droopsnoot\u2019 front end.<\/p>\n

Two normally-aspirated four-cylinder engines are available with the Duratec 2.5-litre standard complete with 275bhp. The range-topper is a Millington Diamond engine, which delivers 350bhp.<\/p>\n

The body is carbon-fibre, which will help keep weight down to around 1000kg and the \u2018X\u2019 gets additional strengthening over and above MST\u2019s Mk2 model.<\/p>\n
