It is a kit to help the RX-8\u2019s slave cylinder issue, which is remotely mounted as standard on the rotary Mazda unit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Butcher has solved the potential space issue as their kit converts the RX-8\u2019s gearbox to having a hydraulic concentric release while also solving the clearance issues within the transmission tunnel enabling more room between the gearbox and tunnel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The kit is pre-set to suit the 90mm clutch height found on a Ford Pinto or Zetec using an 1800 flywheel and Pinto clutch. However, it can be specified for alternative setups and they can also supply a similar kit for Mazda MX-5 five-speed gearbox.
