These three-piece rod ends have heat-treated steel alloy bodies with zinc-plated and chromate-treated races for corrosion resistance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The balls are hard chrome-plated 52100 steel for excellent wear and durability. Some JMX\/JMXL ends are made with a self-lubricating PTFE liner that is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race. The liner offers a very high load-carrying capacity and greatly increased dynamic wear characteristics.
