I was really pleased to get a chance to visit the \u2018new\u2019 Westfield Chesil operation in Bicester, Oxfordshire. General manager, Simeon Cattle was my guide for the day.<\/p>\n

We have a full feature upcoming very soon in TKC MAG but suffice it to say the new 8000sq\/ft workshop will house all things Westfield and Chesil with turnkeys being built at Simeon\u2019s Project Shop operation around the corner.<\/p>\n

A classic car enthusiast, Simeon founded Project Shop in 2010 and specialises in restoration, historic car race prep and much more. Any classic car built between 1950-1990 is fair game and they work on all marques although historic Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Jaguar and Aston Martin play a large part in the business.<\/p>\n

2023 will see a batch of Westfields either Sport 250, Sport 2000 or SDV guises along with ICE-powered Chesil Speedsters. Kits will play a part in the company’s future with the exception of their EV models which will be turnkey only.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, 2024 will see some very exciting developments \u2013 new 2-litre engines (Simeon is tight-lipped on that) for the Westfield range, Chesil EVs and Beetle-based (and more!) Chesils are on the horizon and development is underway now.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll also re revising and re-launching the much-loved Westfield Eleven model in both kit and fully built forms.<\/p>\n

Their new parts department is open from March 1, while they have been busy putting their supply chain in place for Westfield and Chesil models.<\/p>\n
