MOTUL\u00a0and the\u00a0Lancaster Insurance\u00a0Classic Motor Show, with discovery+,\u00a0are\u00a0delighted to announce\u00a0a new co-operation agreement\u00a0that\u00a0sees\u00a0Motul\u00a0appointed as\u00a0the\u00a0Official Lubricant Partner of the\u00a0UK\u2019s leading classic car expo.<\/p>\n

The partnership is announced in time for the 2021\u00a0event, which takes place at the NEC over the weekend of November 12-14 and is the first\u00a0of a\u00a0new\u00a0three-year\u00a0minimum\u00a0deal to\u00a0further cement Motul\u2019s presence in the UK\u2019s\u00a0historic vehicle\u00a0community,\u00a0coming hard on the heels of the announcement of Motul\u2019s recent partnership with the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs\u00a0(FBHVC)\u00a0–\u00a0the umbrella organisation for a vast number of the UK\u2019s historic vehicle clubs and associations.<\/p>\n

Motul\u00a0is a core part of transport history, having been founded in 1853 in the USA\u00a0as\u00a0part of Swan and Finch, before being bought by its French distributor\u00a0in 1957. Throughout\u00a0the entire\u00a0era of motorised transport,\u00a0Motul\u00a0has been conscious of its role in not only creating history through innovative product and service development but also contributing to the heritage of the industry as a whole.<\/p>\n

In order to\u00a0ensure\u00a0yesterday\u2019s vehicles\u00a0are fit to face\u00a0all types of roads,\u00a0Motul\u00a0has\u00a0developed a comprehensive line of products\u00a0for\u00a0historic vehicles,\u00a0using, where necessary, the\u00a0very\u00a0latest\u00a0in\u00a0technology.<\/p>\n

For historic vehicle owners, the product range is truly extensive and\u00a0with more than 270 car clubs and\u00a070,000 visitors expected to\u00a0attend the\u00a0event,\u00a0it represents another\u00a0opportunity\u00a0for\u00a0the historic vehicle community\u00a0not only to become better acquainted with Motul\u2019s comprehensive – and expanding –\u00a0product offering\u00a0for the sector, but also to\u00a0benefit from\u00a0the\u00a0Motul\u00a0expertise on hand, to assist them with running and maintaining these cherished vehicles,\u00a0using the latest solutions available for historic vehicle lubrication.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Motul\u00a0name is\u00a0synonymous\u00a0with quality of product and service, all built from a baseline of expertise and enthusiasm for its markets and the vehicles within them. This illustrates the\u00a0passion\u00a0of the brand, its owners and staff and their desire\u00a0to transmit this passion to the younger generation\u00a0and a visit to either the Motul Stand or the FBHVC Village Green will demonstrate this.<\/p>\n

In line with its recently announced partnership, Motul will be one of the participants in the FBHVC\u2019s Village Green area in Hall 5, taking part in the various activities that the Federation will be staging over the course of the show. This will\u00a0include\u00a0its superb efforts to raise money for\u00a0the NSPCC\u2019s Childline and Motul\u2019s distinctive and much-loved\u00a0Renault\u00a0Vagabond truck will be on\u00a0display, together with a fantastic Rickman CR 900, which is based on the legendary Kawasaki Z1.<\/p>\n

Hall 5 will also\u00a0feature\u00a0Motul\u2019s own\u00a0stand, where the\u00a0focus will\u00a0be on\u00a0their display of historic vehicles.\u00a0The shop on the stand will embody the\u00a0recently launched Club Motul, which aims to give\u00a0historic\u00a0vehicle\u00a0enthusiasts more direct access to everything Motul has to offer:\u00a0technical assistance, product advice, merchandise and opportunities to be part of the growing number of events in which Motul is involved.<\/p>\n

Visitors will be able to purchase Motul Oil, either on the spot or for rapid home delivery. The company\u2019s recently launched Car Care range will be on sale, together with its well established and very popular range of Motorcycle Care\u00a0products.<\/p>\n
