However, although it most definitely is RAPID, the car is proper old school in terms of looks and finish.<\/p>\n<p>Visually, the only real clue that anything special is going on here is the slightly lipped rear arches to allow for wider rear rubber. For the record, the engine is a GM L33 Vortec 5300 HO unit, with an aluminium block. In standard form, it was fitted to GM pick-up trucks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/239770899_4573158499384784_5650262603296704951_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-21991\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/239770899_4573158499384784_5650262603296704951_n-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As a base unit for monster aftermarket builds it is a great engine as it has a beefy bottom end, free-flowing \u2018cathedral\u2019 shape ports and added compression. AK\u2019s version has a pair of huge AET turbos fitted to it.
