{"id":21923,"date":"2021-08-05T18:02:13","date_gmt":"2021-08-05T18:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/?p=21923"},"modified":"2021-08-05T18:02:13","modified_gmt":"2021-08-05T18:02:13","slug":"what-jh-classics-did-next","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tkc.grainwork.co.uk\/index.php\/2021\/08\/05\/what-jh-classics-did-next\/","title":{"rendered":"WHAT JH CLASSICS DID NEXT!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>John Hurst is a well-known name in the UK\u2019s kitcar history annals selling several hundred kits and fully built cars under the Deon and JH Classics banners.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_21924\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-21924\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/j-and-c-jhc-w1070h500.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-21924\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/j-and-c-jhc-w1070h500-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-21924\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">John Hurst with his daughter, Charlotte<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Prior to that Hurst spent many years in the British Army in the Queen\u2019s Royal Irish Hussars serving as a Squadron Leader for over twelve years and he\u2019s now gone back to his military roots (sort of) with his new project in association with his daughter, Charlotte, who is a talented budding designer and skilled equestrian.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/dscf8205-w1070h500.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-21925\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/dscf8205-w1070h500-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s called JHC Elite Military Chicque and as the name implies, they are offering four variants of an Army-inspired Land Rover Defender 110 V8 and will offer luxurious versions in Alpha 1 (Town &amp; Country), Bravo 2 (Desert &amp; Safari), Charlie 3 (long-range cruising) and Delta 4 (ideal for game shooting use) guises.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s an obvious crossover between hunting, shooting and fishing, equestrian pursuits and of course, a military influence. Each of the four SOV variants is named after an Army call sign, for example, while the standard colour finish is Desert Sand Matt.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, interior finishes will be luxurious and finely appointed. These aren\u2019t kitcars, obviously but they are very specialist and deserve to be featured here.
