The simple reason is they are run by nice people and sell great products that make your car look better.<\/p>\n<p>One such company is Downham Market-based Shipshape of Norfolk, who for many years have been the UK importers of the Collinite range of products. Just lately they have become the home here for another American brand called The Treatment and I\u2019ve been\u00a0putting some of the range through its paces.<\/p>\n<p>One that has really grabbed me is their Carnauba Paste Wax that has the performance of paste waxes costing over five times as much.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a man-made polymer mix blended with pure carnauba wax that gives a hard, glass-like feel to your car\u2019s surface and is safe on clearcoats. Unlike some, it won\u2019t leave behind a horrid dusty residue and even better won\u2019t leave white marks on panel shut-lines such as on doors and bonnets as it dries clear.<\/p>\n<p>Easy-on\/easy-off application erases fine scratches and swirl marks and is great on dark colours and left a lovely \u2018wet-look\u2019 gloss on my black X5. What\u2019s even more impressive is the price.
