So, their Pro LS people came up with three more cam grinds to cover engine builds from mild to wild.<\/p>\n<p>These hydraulic roller camshafts are precision-machined from high-quality, American-made steel. Their state-of-the-art lobe designs pull strongly past 7000rpm using valve springs rated as little as 150lbs at the seat and 400lbs of open spring pressure. The cams work well with stock rockers and budget-friendly valve spring and retainer kits.<\/p>\n<p>Summit Pro LS Turbo cams have the same intake lobes and cam timing as the Pro LS naturally aspirated cams, but the exhaust closing point is changed to reduce overlap. It makes great mid-range and top-end power. It\u2019s for max-effort single turbo cars and has a very aggressive idle. The Pro LS Turbo camshafts are compatible with computer-controlled engine management, but are not emissions-legal and will not work with engines that have Active Fuel Management or Variable Valve Timing.
