IT&#039;S ALL THE RAGE!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A brand that I\u2019ve always watched closely is Rage Motorsport. Founded back in the\u00a0year 2000 by twin brothers, Steve and Adam Gentil, their beautifully-made off-road orientated buggies became the mainstay for many driving experience companies up and down the land \u2013 and beyond.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/news_rage_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-14776\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/news_rage_1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Originally based in Bedfordshire, the company changed hands in 2016 and is now to be found in Wombwell near Barnsley. Although primarily to be found being used on muddy surfaces they have a roadgoing range, too.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, after many years supplying their cars in kit form for the North American market they have decided to dip their toe in our market by offering their Comet R (the \u2018R\u2019 denotes \u2018road\u2019, incidentally) model in component form in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>Their core range consists of Cyclone, Hurricane and Comet with power available from 70-200bhp in single- or two-seat form.\u00a0 It\u2019s the Comet R that is available for self-build.<\/p>\n<p>Rage Motorsport makes no bones about the fact that they are still learning about the kitcar market but they are taking it seriously and there\u2019s no doubt that the superb build quality of their products will impress many.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/news_rage_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-14777\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/news_rage_2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Comet R weighs in at 575kg and is underpinned by a 1.5in powdercoated spaceframe chassis featuring both MIG and TIG welding within its structure It employs Intrax long travel dampers and Quaife ATB torque biasing differential.<\/p>\n<p>With some 200bhp courtesy of its Kawasaki ZX-14, it\u2019s no slouch although if you prefer, Honda Fireblade is an option while a Suzuki Hayabusa fitment is under development.<\/p>\n<p>The kit price comes in at \u00a319,995, although if you fancy a fully built Comet R, prices start at \u00a338,753 inc VAT.<\/p>\n<p>More information is available from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ragemotorsport.com\/\">www.ragemotorsport.com<\/a>or via 01226 610 136 <strong>ENDS. <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>A brand that I\u2019ve always watched closely is Rage Motorsport.
