Over 25-years\u2019 experience in sheet-metal work and welding fabrication means that he is a bit of a dab-hand at making anything you want out of the material.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Several years ago, he produced his own aluminium-bodied Lotus Seven-inspired sportscar and made a rather nice job of it. He decided to offer a kit version commercially and impressed lots of people at last year\u2019s Stoneleigh kitcar show and suitably encouraged he has spent the last 12-months developing it further and will be at this year\u2019s show with the latest version of the MB1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It really is a jewel-like thing and very competitively-priced, too. There are two versions, a MIG-welded kit at \u00a35500 or a TIG-welded version at \u00a36500. For that you the fully handcrafted, bespoke, lightweight aluminium body, spaceframe chassis and independent front and rear suspension.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14500\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14500\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/news_batho_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-14500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/news_batho_2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14500\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">HRG Le Mans front wings, just some of the parts that Martin Batho can produce<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">All panels are pre-fitted in place so no cutting or messing about with miss aligning panels and the kit includes chassis (independent rear suspension), nose-cone, bonnet, scuttle, front bulkhead panel, tunnel set, front MB \u2018Stealth\u2019 cycle wings (pair), rear arches (pair), rear panel, rear bulkhead panel, aluminium floor and side panels.
