So, when it debuted their new Digital HP Ignition, it was pretty obvious that it was going to be good.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">According to those that have sampled it, the HP set-up is good. Really good. It packs over 187-millijoules of spark energy, which Pertronix says is 30 per cent more than comparable ignition boxes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What\u2019s more, the Digital HP\u2019s microprocessor-controlled, capacitive discharge design produces multiple sparks twice as fast as the competition, all the way to your engine\u2019s redline. That means better spark timing for improved combustion, which helps produce more horsepower.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Digital HP also features:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">70 per cent smaller box than the competition to better fit in tight spaces<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Integrated three-step digital rev limiter for burnout and launch control plus over-rev protection\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">RPM trigger output to control shift lights, solenoids and other RPM-triggered devices\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Adjustable start retard for easier starting of high compression engines\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Tachometer output lead provides an electrically pure digital tacho signal, has added filters for OE tachometer compatibility\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Onboard diagnostics and tacho calibration with easy to use rotary switch<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Locking connector for positive harness retention<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Pertronix Digital HP Ignition is available with a black or silver finish.
