{"id":12568,"date":"2017-06-15T14:51:32","date_gmt":"2017-06-15T14:51:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/?p=12568"},"modified":"2017-06-15T14:51:32","modified_gmt":"2017-06-15T14:51:32","slug":"new-mnr-le-mans-style-car","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tkc.grainwork.co.uk\/index.php\/2017\/06\/15\/new-mnr-le-mans-style-car\/","title":{"rendered":"NEW MNR LE MANS-STYLE CAR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">MNR Sportscars Ltd has announced the launch of their new LMP-F17 racecar, which is based on the international success of the multi-race-winning RGB class-F Vortx chassis, but with an all new aero-body design and some improvements under its sleek new cover.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_12569\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12569\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/news_mnr_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-12569\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/news_mnr_1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-12569\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">NEW MNR MODEL AIMED AT THE TRACK<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The LMP-F17 is the first car to come from MNR&#8217;s collaboration with official technical partners, Garagisti Limited, well-known motorsport designer, Enrique Scalabroni and GRP specialists Stuart Pease (Fibreglass) Ltd.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The new MNR\u2019s body provides a huge leap forward, both in manufacturing process and aero efficiency, featuring organic shapes and extreme curvatures, designed to move air off the body of the car rather than over it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The technical collaboration with the former Ferrari designer is a successful continuation of his chassis and aero design relationship with Garagisti principal, Lee Baverstock and the LMP-F17 is the result of a lot of hard work all of the team, with a special focus on developing the small details of the design in particular.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cFormer Williams F1 technical director, Patrick Head once told me to never forget that details are engineering,\u201d said Scalabroni whose CV also includes Le Mans and F1 successes with the likes of Dallara, Williams, Lotus and Peugeot Sport in addition to Ferrari.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_12570\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12570\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/news_mnr_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-12570 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/news_mnr_2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-12570\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">VortX really put MNR on the kitcar map and it underpins the new car<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Marc Nordon, founder of MNR Sportscars said: \u201cWe have come so far from the initial concept and we are delighted with the LMP-F17.
