{"id":12336,"date":"2017-05-12T09:10:39","date_gmt":"2017-05-12T09:10:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/?p=12336"},"modified":"2017-05-12T09:10:39","modified_gmt":"2017-05-12T09:10:39","slug":"doctor-blundall-will-see-you-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tkc.grainwork.co.uk\/index.php\/2017\/05\/12\/doctor-blundall-will-see-you-now\/","title":{"rendered":"DOCTOR BLUNDALL WILL SEE YOU NOW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/news_speedster_clinic_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-12337\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/news_speedster_clinic_2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A manufacturer keeping a very low profile but producing high quality work while doing it, while also being extremely busy with orders and builds is Warwickshire-based Speedster Clinic run by the superb character that is Gary Blundall.<\/p>\n<p>Gary and his small team offer several models on the Porsche 356 theme, including 356 Speedster, 356 Coupe and his new 356 Pre-A (he\u2019s also got a couple of other secret new projects up his sleeve, too!).<\/p>\n<p>Several things set Speedster Clinic apart including the fact that they offer their kits in bolt-on, using shortened VW Beetle floorpan guise or their \u2018Deluxe\u2019 kits that use Gary\u2019s own chassis.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/news_speedster_clinic_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-12338\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/news_speedster_clinic_1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He starts with a Beetle \u2018pan but removes the standard floors and replaces them with a tubular and adjustable frame head. Floor sections are then added along with an outer sub-chassis and fixed one-piece CAD-designed bulkhead, which is welded into an all-new box section frame along with CNC-bent sills.
