Burton Power now offer a cast aluminium replacement ‘Duratec-R’ cam cover that has been designed to fit all standard Ford 2-litre., 2.3-litre and 2.5-litre Duratec HE engines.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> The cam cover can also be used on VVT Duratec engines but only when the variable valve timing gear has been removed. This item is for use with a Ford coil-pack and plug leads \u2013 coil-on-plugs cannot be used because of space limitations.<\/p>\n

The cam cover is 65mm high, which will give a 2.3-litre or 2.5-litre Duratec engine the same overall height as a standard 2-litre engine with the original Ford cam cover. It comes in a cast finish but can be painted or powdercoated if desired.\u00a0 A spun aluminium filler cap is also included.<\/p>\n

The ‘Duratec-R’ aluminium cam cover kit includes: sand cast aluminium cover, spun aluminium filler cap, internal baffle tray, plastic filler cap key, complete o-ring seal set and fittings.
