The manufacturer expects to build 540 Sevens in 2017 and 575 in 2018, which would put them on the limit of their production capacity at the factory in Dartford (Crayford actually but don\u2019t tell anyone!).<\/p>\n<p>CEO Graham Macdonald has returned to the original \u2018one-man-one-car\u2019 build method rather than the production line introduced by previous boss, Ansar Ali. Macdonald\u00a0 is not just boss of Caterham either as he is a real fan of the Seven. He bought a 620R with his own money and has recently been building an Academy car from a kit with the intention of racing it this season.<\/p>\n<p>Caterham\u2019s last half year figures saw them turnover Caterham\u2019s last half year figures saw them turnover \u00a330M returning a profit of \u00a3300,000.
