{"id":11718,"date":"2017-02-16T13:19:11","date_gmt":"2017-02-16T13:19:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/?p=11718"},"modified":"2017-02-16T13:19:11","modified_gmt":"2017-02-16T13:19:11","slug":"sad-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tkc.grainwork.co.uk\/index.php\/2017\/02\/16\/sad-news\/","title":{"rendered":"SAD NEWS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/news_zenos.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-11719\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalkitcar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/news_zenos-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sad to hear that Zenos Cars has gone into administration although at the time of writing it was hoped that a saviour could be found to enable the Norfolk manufacturer to continue trading.<\/p>\n<p>Their problems have been attributed to a recent downturn in trade with a cancelled overseas order not doing them any favours.<\/p>\n<p>Co-founded by Ansar Ali and Mark Edwards, both ex-Caterham Cars, Zenos debuted their E10 model at Autosport International in January 2014, with Ford 2-litre GDI power, although that was soon joined by an EcoBoost version.<\/p>\n<p>When Ali left \u2013 although he remained a shareholder, Edwards was in sole charge and the company had recently taken its 100<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0E10 order.
