Established for 27-years in Glenrothes, Fife, Falkland Performance Centre has built an enviable reputation for their engine tuning prowess (long association with Cosworth) as well as being agents for Superchips and Revotechnik. The company also acts as agents for accessories meisters, Carnoisseur who offer a wide range of products including wheels, suspension items and brakes. They are also Scotland\u2019s only official dealer for the stunning exhaust systems made by ARMYTRIX Performance Valvetronic\u00a0Exhausts (these things are a complete work of jewel-like art).<\/p>\n

Falkland\u2019s David Robertson told me: \u201cAfter our Cosworth era we decided to not to specialise in just one marque again, so we now tune Ford, Volkswagen, Audi and BMW among others.\u201d<\/p>\n

After building a MEV Rocket that was bought from Road Track Race before they ceased trading, mainly to showcase what they could offer, they have now been appointed as agents for RTR\u2019s successor\u2019s, Exo Sports Cars.<\/p>\n

The Falkland demonstrator is powered by a 1.6-litre Ford EcoBoost engine (talking of jewels), spritely enough as standard with about 200bhp, but un-surprisingly Falkland Performance Centre has taken that out to a cool 300bhp\u2026as if their menu of goodies wans\u2019t enough they also have their own Maha LPS 3000 rolling road, and offer a fleet vehicle maintenance package for commercial customers, too.<\/p>\n
