The government hasn\u2019t annoubced when they\u2019ll be switching off the analoguie signal as yet but experts reckon it could be by the end of 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Most new mainstream cars come with a DAB facility now but if yours doesn\u2019t then this could be the answer. There\u2019s a few products around that claim to give this facility but the one I tried required half the dashboard being removed and a degree in electronics!<\/p>\n<p>However, the SmartDAB is plug and play is fitted in a few minutes all done using your phone and a free app and transmits via the built-in FM transmitter and 3.5mm aux lead.<\/p>\n<p>You get one-touch operation, day\/night mode and a USB port for charging.
